Emily Reeves

After back surgery in her early 20’s, Emily was drawn to pilates as rehabilitation.
Having found how beneficial Pilates was, with its various different approaches to teaching, she was intrigued as to how this could help other people too.
Emily subsequently trained with APPI but also uses breath work and a more functional, whole body approach to her classes.
Emily is a keen horse rider, walker and cyclist in her spare time.
Emily teaches every Tuesday afternoon and evening, and every Friday morning

Laura Carter

Laura’s Pilates journey began with her horses and the riders. By treating horses as an Equine Sports Therapist in Kent for the last 8 years and experiencing each time she visited a horse the same physical problems over again, she decided she needed to work with the rider’s body also.
Laura trained as a level 3 Pilates Mat teacher with The Thoughtful Body – taught by Rachel Rafiefar and then specialised in Equestrian Biomechanics.
She also holds a Massage Diploma (for people).
Laura’s love of movement in general stems right back to her performing arts training, mainly within the acting realm and so she continued this love of movement by working alongside some great teachers.
With her passion for Fitness Pilates and encouraging fearless movement, she loves teaching her weekly Fitness Pilates to Music, as well as her online classes and new to her weekly repertoire, teaching Pilates to adults with high level disabilities.
Laura teaches mat classes every Wednesday and Thursday afternoon /evening and Saturday mornings.

Alyce Bartle

Alyce is a classical mat Pilates teacher, who is passionate about movement in any shape. She loves that mat Pilates can meet you wherever you’re at and her classes are challenging, focusing on building skills and full body integration so you leave feeling energised, aligned and calm. Her focus is on finding the mind/body connection so the time will pass rapidly and you’ll realise you haven’t thought of anything else all class.

Holly Barton

With nearly 15 years of teaching under my belt and a background as a
competitive gymnast, I discovered Pilates when my flexibility started
working against me, my body had started to lack the strength to support it.
Pilates helped me rebuild from the inside out, reconnect with my body, and
move with intention, control, and balance.
I’m passionate about classical Pilates, the structure, the flow, and the
way it consistently leaves you feeling stronger, more aligned, and more
energised. My teaching focuses on helping clients develop deep strength,
body awareness, and confidence in movement that carries into everyday life.
Alongside running my own studio just outside London in Surrey,  I am also
a mum to two little ones. I know first-hand how valuable it is to carve out
time for movement that truly supports both the body and the mind. Whether
you’re new to Pilates or looking to deepen your practice, I bring both
experience and genuine love for the method to every session.

Brittany Hope

Brittany is a professional dancer who trained at The Royal Ballet School and Bird College, where she gained a Diploma in Dance and Musical Theatre. During lockdown, she obtained her Matwork certification through the PhysicalMind Institute, followed by further Reformer training with APPI Pilates.

With her dance background, Brittany brings a deep understanding of the body’s capabilities and movement potential to her teaching, whether working with clients in rehabilitation or simply helping them enjoy the freedom and joy of movement.
